...I think (and this is only my opinion) that this one is too busy. The in-focus tree in the foreground pulls the viewer's attention away from the horse. I like the fence the slight diagonal, but placing the horizon at the center of the image weakens it compositionally.
I'm looking for some feedback on these - not sure what I have done wrong but many don't seem just right (or at least not as good as the real thing).

...has a lot of potential, but you might try cropping out some of the sky and then adjusting the levels to bring out the reflection.
